  Annual Physical Cat Exams

It is important to make sure your feline friend stays healthy and active. A part of that is having yearly wellness visits. Many times these help prevent or detect issues before they become serious and expensive. Here is a list of just some of the things we go over in an annual exam:

• Vaccination Status: All vaccinations are reviewed and the schedule for what is needed. That way you can plan ahead. We will also review why these are necessary and how they help your cat.
• Weight/Nutrition: Your cat is weighed and we discuss their diet. This helps us assist you in making sure your cat’s nutrition and weight is appropriate for their lifestyle. Also, depending on their age, and any health problems, what supplements or exercise may be needed to assist their diet.
• Whole Body Check: Ears to toes, we make sure everything is in good standing order. We check for any redness, swelling, discomfort around the ears and eyes. Your cat’s coat and skin are combed to check for fleas or ticks. All teeth, nails, and feet are checked too, along with vital signs.
• Blood/Fecal Tests: As needed we check their blood and feces for any medical issues.  

Sick or Injured Exams
